The UltraPAK is a belt pack that integrates into Eartecs full duplex wireless series pairing with either the HUB or an UltraLITE Master headset. These compact digital belt packs have been introduced specifically for those users that need hands free voice communication and prefer traditional belt pack / headset configuration.
UltraPAK belt packs weigh only 70g (0.07kg) and feature an ergonomic design so they fit comfortably when belt worn. They include volume control adjustment and a mic mute button with LED indicator that illuminates when gain is set to standby. The field replaceable Lithium-ion battery is the same one used across Eartecs full duplex wireless series, charges externally, and operates for up to 6 hours in full duplex mode.
The featherweight Cyber is the preferred headset accessory for the UltraPAK because it features a discreet back-band design. A complete line of headset accessories are available including the SST, a miniature ear bud with lapel mic.
All UltraPAK transceivers are connected in full duplex through The HUB, a compact full duplex wireless repeater that weighs only 250g. The HUB is essentially a mini base station that can either be placed strategically on location or belt worn. When clipped comfortably to the users waste it moves seamlessly allowing a crew to remain in constant full duplex voice contact.
The HUB includes two channels of communication affording separate groups of four users the ability to talk privately. Pressing the A/B channel combine button (conference) on the HUB face connects the talking patterns and links all UltraPAK's in the system. As an added feature all HUB transceivers include a wired headset jack and can be utilised as an additional belt pack expanding the capacity of the system to a crew of nine all communicating in full duplex.
EARTEC engineers have included interconnect capability within each HUB. This allows two HUB's to be linked together further expanding the capacity to 16 users. Since UltraPAK's are field programmable you can always modify your system adding components at any time expanding the talking pattern as your needs grow.
