The HUB Wireless Programming Instructions

When programming a replacement headset, the HUB mini-base needs to be cleared before a “Remote” unit can be linked to it. Follow the steps below to clear the HUB. All remote units should be “OFF” before starting this process.

  1. Install battery in HUB mini-base and turn power switch “ON”. The red LEDʼs will flash 5 times and then go out on each channel.
  2. Press and hold programming button “1” on the HUB for five seconds. The red LED will begin flashing.
  3. Press the #1 programming button 7 times. The red LED will begin a rapid flashing for approximately 10 seconds, and then go out. At this point the HUB has no remotes programmed to channel 1.
  4. Press and hold programming button “2” on the HUB for five seconds. The red LED will begin flashing.
  5. Press the #2 programming button 7 times. The red LED will begin a rapid flashing for approximately 10 seconds, and then go out. At this point the HUB has no remotes programmed to channel 2.
  6. The HUB mini-base now has no headsets programmed to it and is ready to link to “Remote” headsets. Follow the instructions under “HUB Mini-Base Programming Instructions” to link headsets.

Now you are ready to link remote headsets.

  1. Start with all “Remote” headsets powered “OFF”.
  2. Channel buttons “1” and “2” are located behind the belt clip. Install battery in the HUB mini-base and turn power switch “ON”. The red LEDʼs will flash 5 times and then go out on each channel.
  3. Press and hold programming button “1” (to program to channel 1) or “2” (to program to channel 2) on HUB mini base for five seconds. Red LED will begin flashing. This indicates that the HUB is ready to link to a “Remote” headset.
  4. Install battery in “Remote” headset. Press the volume DOWN arrow 3 times and then press and HOLD the volume UP arrow. Once the LED on the remote goes solid, release the volume UP arrow.
  5. The pairing process can take from 5-30 seconds. When the headsets link, the “Remote” headset will flash twice quickly, then go solid. The HUB mini-base will go from a flashing LED to a solid LED. When both LEDʼs are lit, the headset is linked to the HUB.
  6. In order to program additional headsets, power down the “Remote” headset by holding the power button for five seconds. The LED on the “HUB” will go out. Press and hold the programming button of the channel you wish to program to for five seconds until the red LED begins flashing, then repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional headset. *Each HUB mini-base can have up to 3 remote headsets linked to each channel.
